Jeffrey Lewis, 12 Crass Songs, Rough Trade, CD, 2007

Jeffrey Lewis (site / myspace) takes an important part of the New York "no folk" scene. In 2007 he realised an entire album of crass cover, his aim : to play crass in a more accessible way to "bring the songs out into the light". He is also a cartoonist, here is the story of that album (click to oversize):
